DNO - NewStar Tour has unveiled a flexible 39-day, 38-night journey across Vietnam, allowing domestic and international travelers to choose their preferred routes, travel dates, boarding and drop-off points, and accommodation standards.

The program is scheduled to begin on November 16, 2026. The tour connects destinations across the country, bringing together heritage sites, cultural spaces, local cuisine, scenic landscapes and everyday life.

Its key feature is an open itinerary that allows travelers to experience as much or as little of the journey as their time and interests permit.

The idea was conceived by Luong Duy Ngan, Chairman of NewStar Group and CEO of NewStar Tour, in 2022, as tourism began recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Recognizing that few travelers could take 39 consecutive days off, the company developed a system of connected routes designed to make a nationwide journey more accessible.

According to the company’s plan, the route will include 31 designated stops for passenger pick-ups and drop-offs, served by 31 45-seat coaches operating in a circular system. Around 60 component tours will allow travelers to select individual legs or combine several sections into a longer holiday.

For example, visitors to Hue can follow the basic one-day itinerary or extend their stay by two, three or four days. Travelers can also join the route at designated stops without having to return to Ha Noi, the main departure point.

Those living in or visiting Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh, among other localities, can board along the route. NewStar Tour departures will not depend on reaching a minimum number of passengers.

“Whether there is one passenger or two, the coach will still depart as scheduled,” Ngan said. The program targets domestic travelers as well as international visitors seeking a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s culture, heritage and landscapes.

The itinerary combines well-known attractions with opportunities to explore local culture and regional diversity. In the south-central coastal region, travelers can visit Nha Trang, Doc Let, Vung Ro, Mui Dien and Tuy Hoa, among other destinations.

Toward the end of the full journey, the route includes sites in Nghe An, such as Ho Chi Minh Square, Hoang Tru and Kim Lien village, before continuing to Ninh Binh.

Highlights there include the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, the temples of Kings Dinh and Le, Am Tien Cave, Mua Cave, Trang An and Tam Chuc.

The overall journey starts and ends at Ha Noi Opera House. Package prices per adult are VND49.999 million for three-star accommodation, VND63.999 million for four-star accommodation and VND83.999 million for five-star accommodation.

Following the launch announcement, NewStar Tour plans to hold its first sales event in Ha Noi on October 13, followed by around 15 events in localities nationwide.

The program offers travelers an alternative way to discover Vietnam: a nationwide route that can be tailored to individual schedules, interests and budgets.
