Tourism and logistics underpin future development

Tourism promotion remained a priority, particularly during the summer peak season. The city intensified multichannel communications and destination marketing under the message “Return to the Origins”, alongside major events and festivals.

Initiatives included the “Top 100 Da Nang Touchpoints” program, the “Local towards Global” campaign promoting Hoi An lanterns, and the “Every Resident Is a Tourism Ambassador” feature series.

Plans include large-scale artistic productions with international ambitions and further development of tourism products in Hoi An Ancient Town, the My Son Sanctuary and the Cu Lao Cham World Biosphere Reserve, under the brand “One Green Destination - Three World-Class Experiences”.

Logistics is another priority. Le Thi Kim Phuong, Director of the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, said the department would develop a plan for Da Nang Logistics Exhibition 2027 to promote investment, connect businesses and showcase the city’s logistics infrastructure and services.

Other priorities include attracting major logistics companies and cargo flows, advancing digital transformation, strengthening regional connectivity, developing the workforce and expanding international cooperation.
