2026 K-Food in Hoi An delights visitors
DNO - The 2026 K-Food in Hoi An festival opened on September 26 at the Song Hoai Square, Da Nang, inviting locals and visitors to discover Korean cuisine, K-Food products and cultural experiences.
The two-day event, running on September 26 and 27, brings together food tasting, product showcases, hands-on activities, cultural exchanges, and live performances.
It offers visitors a chance to enjoy Korean flavours and experience aspects of contemporary Korean food culture in the heart of Hoi An.
The event is hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City Branch of Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) and organized by SINASEAN Vietnam Co., Ltd., with support from the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Hoi An administration and the Hoi An World Heritage Conservation Centre.
Visitors can sample and purchase a wide selection of Korean products, including tteokbokki, beverages, ice cream, processed dairy products, fresh fruit and convenient ready-to-eat foods.
For those who want a more hands-on experience, the festival also offers opportunities to make popular Korean dishes themselves. Activities include making kimbap, dalgona, cup tteokbokki and Korean noodles. Visitors can also take part in check-in activities at the booths and receive gifts.
In addition, the programme features music exchanges, artistic performances and activities promoting the culture and tourism of Hoi An, and Da Nang at large.
The combination creates a lively meeting point for Vietnamese and Korean culture at the Song Hoai Square. Held for the second time in Hoi An after its debut in 2025, the festival brings Korean food and culture closer to Vietnamese audiences and international visitors.
