An Hai Ward-hosted cooking contest attracts crowds
DNO - As part of the ongoing An Hai Festival 2026, the cooking contest themed “Skilled Hands in the Kitchen - Rich Flavors of the Sea” was held at the East Sea Park on September 26.
The contest attracted 18 teams, each comprising one male and one female contestant. The teams came from the Women's Union chapter of An Hai Ward Police, Women's Union chapters in residential areas, and joint teams from across the ward.
Within 60 minutes, each team was required to prepare a meal for 10 people, featuring dishes made from distinctive local ingredients and showcasing the flavors of the sea.
The contest tested the contestants’ culinary skills, creativity and teamwork, as well as reflected their appreciation for local food culture.
The dishes prepared and presented at the contest helped highlight the diversity and distinctive character of local cuisine while promoting An Hai as a friendly, dynamic destination rich in cultural identity to residents and visitors alike.
