Two Vietnam's airports among world's most connected hubs 2026
DNO - Two Vietnam's Airports, including Noi Bai (based in Hanoi) and Tan Son Nhat (based in Ho Chi Minh City), ranked among OAG's Top 50 most connected airports in the world in 2026 (Megahubs 2026).
OAG, an aviation data and analytics provider, recently released its ranking of the world's 50 most connected airports for the year (Megahubs 2026).
This company analyzed flights at 100 major global airports between September 2025 and August 2026. Then, it extracted data from August 2, identified as the "busiest" day for global aviation during that period, to determine the top 50.
Accordingly, Tan Son Nhat ranked 48th among the world’s 50 most connected airports. This airport offers 8,441 connection options, defined as valid combinations of connecting itineraries, linking it to 100 destinations worldwide.
Meanwhile, Noi Bai climbed eight spots from last year to rank 49th.
OAG calculated that this airport offers 8,679 connection options, linking it to 105 destinations worldwide.
Alongside, Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat airports were also named among the Top 25 Low-Cost Megahubs in the world. In this ranking, Tan Son Nhat Airport placed 19th, while Noi Bai Airport ranked 22nd.
