Da Nang, Yeongam County strengthen mutual understanding
DNO - A delegation from the Da Nang Newspaper and Radio, Television (DNRT) held a working session with the authorities of Yeongam County, the Republic of Korea, on Thursday.
During the meeting, Yeongam County Mayor Woo Seung-hee provided an overview of the locality, including the lives of local residents, distinctive cultural features, socio-economic and tourism development, and signature products.
In reply, DNRT leaders outlined the purposes of their working visit, focusing on learning about the locality’s culture and daily life, as well as its distinctive tourism products.

The two sides discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation in information and communications, contributing to the promotion of the images, culture, people, and potential of Da Nang and Yeongam.
Also during the working visit to Yeongam, a group of representatives from the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism learned about the county’s tourism potential, tourism products, and distinctive cultural values.
The two sides discussed opportunities to strengthen cultural exchanges, promote tourism, connect destinations, and expand cooperation between Da Nang and Yeongam in the coming period.
Mayor Woo Seung-hee voiced his hope that exchanges and connections with Da Nang, other localities, international visitor groups, and partners would continue to be deepened in the time ahead.
