Da Nang strengthens cooperation with Japanese organizations and enterprises
DNO - As part of the “Connect Japan” program 2026, a delegation from the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology met with some organizations and businesses in Japan on Friday.
The purpose of the visits was to strengthen cooperation and expand opportunities for Da Nang businesses in the Japanese market.

The Da Nang delegation explored Japan’s technology, manufacturing, and logistics ecosystems by visiting a cluster of exhibitions in Tokyo, including the Factory Innovation Week Autumn and the Logis-Tech Tokyo 2026.
During a working session with the Strike Co., Ltd., the Da Nang delegation discussed potential cooperation in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), business matchmaking and cross-border investment opportunities.
Strike, a reputable M&A advisory firm in Japan, specializes in helping businesses address challenges related to succession, restructuring, expansion, accelerated growth and corporate valuation.
The company also operates the SMART platform for identifying M&A opportunities.
Connections with organizations experienced in M&A advisory and international investment are expected to open up channels for potential businesses and projects in Da Nang to access capital, strategic partners and the Japanese market.

Also on the same day, the Da Nang delegation met with the Daiwa Corporate Investment, a venture capital and private equity firm under Japan’s Daiwa Securities Group.
During the meeting, the two sides focused on discussing Da Nang’s investment environment, the needs of Japanese investors, and potential cooperation opportunities.
Alongside activities in Tokyo, the delegation connected with Vietnamese businesses operating in Japan, including surveying logistics systems, stores and distribution networks for imported and exported goods.
At a working session with ISHIDA KEN, a Vietnamese business operating in Japan, the delegation explored cooperation opportunities in trade, import-export activities and related business sectors between the two countries.
The company currently operates in several key areas, including the import of Vietnamese agricultural and aquatic products; the export of Japanese cosmetics, household goods and functional foods; and research and development in regenerative medicine and stem cell technologies.
