DNO - A series of key cultural and tourism events is scheduled to take place in Da Nang during the final months of 2026 and the beginning of 2027.

In particular, a conference to promote cultural industries is slated for October 2. It is expected to attract 300 domestic and international delegates.

The event aims to foster the development of the cultural industries in line with Politburo Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW, dated January 7, 2026, regarding the development of Vietnamese culture.

The Vietnam Cultural Week - Da Nang 2026 is scheduled to be held from November 23 - 29.

It will feature a wide range of cultural spaces, traditional craft villages, culinary activities, special art programs and 3D mapping technology shows for residents and visitors.

In addition, the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism plans to organize seven programs and events to welcome the New Year and Lunar New Year 2027.

Included are the Countdown program, the Hoi An International Lantern Festival 2026, the Da Nang Concert welcoming the New Year 2027, and the “Welcoming the New Spring” arts program.

The “Da Nang Cultural, Sports and Tourism Days in Ho Chi Minh City” program will be held in the first quarter of 2027, in conjunction with the annual gathering of Da Nang people living in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is responsible for reviewing the scale and content of each program, determining priorities and exploring ways to ensure cost-effectiveness, efficiency and greater mobilization of social resources.
