Da Nang works with China’s Mingyang Smart Energy on wind turbine nacelle project
DNO - Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Phan Thai Binh had a working session on Wednesday with China's Mingyang Smart Energy to discuss the wind turbine nacelle manufacturing project at the Tam Hiep Industrial and Port Logistics Park in Nui Thanh Commune.

The wind turbine nacelle manufacturing project currently under study targets an annual capacity of 180 units. It requires at least 5 hectares of land and more than 160 workers.
Key requirements for the project site include adequate space for factories and warehouses, sufficient power supply capacity, and a seaport capable of handling super-sized and super-heavy cargo.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman Phan Thai Binh briefed his guests on the strengths of Da Nang and the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone, with focus on their strategic locations, well-developed infrastructure, and human resources.
Notably, the Tam Hiep Industrial and Port Logistics Park, located within the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone and under consideration by the investor for the project, offers favorable land availability.
Also, several strategic infrastructure projects will be developed at the park in the coming period according to the city’s plan.

The Chu Lai Open Economic Zone also offers various tax incentives, including export tax, corporate income tax, and import tax incentives for business assets and production materials.
The industrial park’s infrastructure developer is ready to build factory facilities according to the investor’s requirements.
Vice Chairman Phan Thai Binh voiced his hope that the company would soon complete its project study and investment promotion activities, particularly for the first phase of the project.
The city pledged to support all necessary procedures to ensure the investor can smoothly implement the project, he added.

At the meeting, leaders of the city, the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone and Indusvalley Chu Lai JSC provided detailed explanations and exchanges on the investor’s questions and requirements regarding planning, land clearance, technical infrastructure, transport connectivity and environmental issues.
A representative of Mingyang Smart Energy said the company was highly impressed with the strategic location of the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone, as well as the city’s support mechanisms.
In particular, the company’s survey of the site, infrastructure, logistics conditions and ongoing projects in the industrial park has strengthened its confidence in the project’s feasibility.
The project is expected to enter the investment promotion stage in the first quarter of 2027.
