Da Nang welcomes 66 sports delegations to the Heineken Pickleball World Cup 2026
DNO - Da Nang authorities, on Tuesday, hosted a welcome reception for the Heineken Pickleball World Cup 2026, with the participation of representatives from 66 sports delegations from different countries and territories.
This tournament served as an opportunity for exchange, connection, and fostering friendship within the global pickleball community.
Attendees at the event included Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee and Chairman of the municipal People's Committee; and Tran Phuoc Son, Member of the Da Nang Party Committee Standing Board, Standing Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Council and President of the Da Nang Pickleball Federation.
In his welcoming remarks, Tran Phuoc Son emphasized that the tournament is not only an international sporting event but also an opportunity for seeking cooperation between Da Nang (Vietnam) and international partners in the fields of sports, tourism, and culture.
Through exciting matches and experiences involving local tourism and cuisine, delegates and athletes will discover Da Nang, a dynamic, safe, friendly, and hospitable city.
The city hopes that every participant will leave with cherished memories of the tournament and warm feelings towards the local people. Da Nang leader hoped the Heineken Pickleball World Cup 2026 would become a significant moment in the development of pickleball.
