2027 IRONMAN Vietnam and IRONMAN 70.3 Da Nang open for registration
DNO - The organizers of IRONMAN Vietnam and IRONMAN 70.3 Da Nang have officially opened registration for the 2027 editions.
IRONMAN Vietnam and IRONMAN 70.3 Da Nang are among the most anticipated annual sporting events in the city. These events are jointly organized by the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Sunrise Events Vietnam.
Following the success of the 2026 editions, IRONMAN Vietnam and IRONMAN 70.3 Da Nang in 2027 will once again be held concurrently on May 9.
IRONMAN Vietnam 2027 will challenge athletes with the full-distance course, comprising a 3.8km swim, a 180km bike ride and a 42km run.
The grueling journey requires participants to maintain exceptional endurance, follow a scientifically sound nutrition strategy, recover quickly and demonstrate mental toughness throughout a race that can last up to 17 consecutive hours.
The full-distance IRONMAN is widely regarded as one of the world’s toughest endurance sporting challenges. It pushes athletes to continually surpass their physical and mental limits under extreme competitive conditions.
The 2027 edition will also mark the second consecutive year that the prestigious event has chosen Da Nang as its host destination.
Meanwhile, IRONMAN 70.3 Da Nang 2027 will feature a more accessible course consisting of a 1.9km swim, a 90km bike ride and a 21km run.
The year 2027 will mark the 11th edition of IRONMAN 70.3 Da Nang, continuing a journey that has inspired and helped drive the strong growth of Vietnam’s triathlon community for more than a decade.
Accordingly, athletes will have the opportunity to swim in Da Nang’s clear waters, and conquer the city’s iconic bridges as well as cycle and run through scenic surroundings.
Featuring a coastal route that passes famous landmarks such as the Dragon Bridge, Han River Bridge, Son Tra Peninsula and Marble Mountains, the course is hailed by experts as one of the most scenic routes on the global IRONMAN circuit.
This year’s edition promises to attract a large number of domestic and international athletes.
Previously, IRONMAN Vietnam 2026 and IRONMAN 70.3 Da Nang 2026 brought together more than 4,700 athletes, setting an impressive milestone for the development of endurance sports movement in Vietnam.
