The airline will introduce daily flight SQ187 from Ho Chi Minh City to Singapore from October 26, departing at 5:55 a.m. local time.

The return service, SQ188, will leave Singapore for Ho Chi Minh City at 9:50 p.m. daily from October 25. Da Nang will also receive additional daily services.

Flight SQ175 from Da Nang to Singapore will depart at 7:35 p.m. from October 27, while the corresponding SQ176 service from Singapore to Da Nang will operate daily from October 26, departing at 5 p.m.

The expansion follows Singapore Airlines’ decision to add a third daily service from Ha Noi in June.

With the latest additions, the carrier will operate 70 flights a week connecting destinations in Vietnam with Singapore.

The increased frequency is expected to give travelers from Vietnam greater flexibility when connecting through Singapore to destinations across Singapore Airlines’ global network.

From its Singapore hub, passengers can connect to major cities in Australia, Europe and North America, including Sydney, Melbourne, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Munich and New York.

More frequent services could help reduce connection times and provide travellers with smoother onward journeys. For passengers, the additional flights also offer greater choice when planning both business and leisure trips.

The morning departure from Ho Chi Minh City, for example, provides an alternative schedule for travellers heading to Singapore, while the expanded Da Nang service strengthens air links between Central Vietnam and the regional aviation hub.

The move comes as demand for international travel from Vietnam continues to support stronger regional connectivity, with airlines increasing capacity to key destinations across Asia.

To mark the expanded operation, Singapore Airlines is offering promotional round-trip fares on the new SQ187 and SQ188 services between Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore.

Return tickets are available from VND4.4 million, including taxes and fees.

The promotion applies to tickets booked through September 5, 2026, for travel between October 25, 2026 and March 27, 2027.

Passengers can purchase tickets through Singapore Airlines’ official website and SingaporeAir mobile app, as well as through the airline’s authorized travel agents across Vietnam.

The combination of additional frequencies and promotional fares is expected to strengthen travel links between Vietnam and Singapore while giving passengers more options for onward international journeys.
