Da Nang Party Secretary receives outgoing Russian Consul General
DNO - Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee and Head of the city’s Delegation of National Assembly Deputies Le Ngoc Quang hosted a reception on Tuesday for Ms. Maria Mizonova Georgievna, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Da Nang who came to say goodbye at the end of her tenure.
At the meeting, Consul General Maria Mizonova Georgievna thanked the city's leaders, authorities and people for their active support and assistance during her tenure in the city.
She spoke highly of the cooperation between Da Nang and Russian localities in recent years. She also expressed her hope that the bilateral ties would continue to expand, particularly in tourism, in the time to come.
The restoration and launch of direct flights between Da Nang and Russian localities have played an important role in increasing the number of Russian visitors to the city, she noted.
The Russian diplomat affirmed that she would continue to serve as a bridge to foster cooperation between Da Nang and Russian partners and businesses interested in exploring investment opportunities in the city.

Secretary Quang expressed his appreciation for the contributions made by Consul General Maria Mizonova Georgievna in fostering cooperative relations between Da Nang and Russian localities.
He acknowledged her role in supporting Da Nang in promoting external relations, cultural exchanges, and the promotion of Russian culture and language in the city, as well as reopening charter flights with Russian localities.
The city Party chief hoped that, in her new position during her upcoming tenure in Ho Chi Minh City, Consul General Maria Mizonova Georgievna would continue promoting cooperation between Da Nang and Russian localities and partners, thereby contributing to further deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.
