Da Nang investment attraction surges in first 7 months of 2026
DNO - Since the beginning of the year, investment attraction activities in Da Nang have continued to show positive signs.

Specifically, nine new projects were granted investment approval with a total investment capital of over VND18.594 trillion, whilst seven projects registered capital adjustments, with additional capital totaling VND23.926 trillion.
As a result, in the first seven months of 2026, total domestic investment attracted by Da Nang reached VND116.092 trillion, six times higher than the same period last year.
These investment flows brought the total number of domestic investment projects in the city to 2,065, with a combined investment value of VND862.933 trillion.
As for foreign direct investment (FDI), Da Nang attracted more than US$402.7 million during the 7-month period.
This included 88 newly-licensed projects with a total registered capital of US$286.45 million and 31 projects registering capital increases totaling US$99.64 million.
To date, the city has had 1,151 valid FDI projects totalling approximately US$10.94 billion.
Alongside the positive growth in investment capital, the number of businesses entering the market has also increased compared with the same period in 2025. The results reflect the continued attractiveness of the city’s investment and business environment.
According to statistics, in July 2026 (from June 21 - July 20), a total of 503 new enterprises, branches and representative offices were established in the city, up 11.4% year on year. Their total registered capital exceeded VND5.13 trillion, representing a rise of nearly 120%.
This indicates that businesses entering the market during the month had significantly larger capital scales than those established in the same period last year.
During the January - July period, Da Nang recorded 4,274 newly established enterprises, branches and representative offices, with total registered capital exceeding VND24.28 trillion. The results further demonstrate that the city’s investment and business environment continues to maintain its appeal.
According to the municipal Department of Finance, survey results show that the business community remains optimistic about production and business prospects in the city. Notably, newly established enterprises are tending to invest on a larger scale.
New businesses continue to concentrate on trade and services, construction, information technology, logistics and supporting services, in line with the city’s economic development priorities.
