Da Nang ranks among top 3 destinations for Vietnamese travellers on National Day Holiday
DNO - Da Nang has ranked third among the destinations receiving the highest number of travel service bookings from Vietnamese travellers for the National Day holiday on September 2.
According to the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Centre, Traveloka’s SEA Index report, released on August 11, 2026, ranked Da Nang third among the five most-booked destinations by Vietnamese travellers for the September 2 holiday, after Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, and ahead of Con Dao and Phu Quoc.
The three cities (Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi, and Da Nang) also topped Traveloka’s booking rankings in the second quarter of 2026, underscoring Da Nang’s strong appeal during the National Day holiday.
In addition, the report’s Demand Score, which measures booking growth against the overall market, gave Da Nang 88 points and Hoi An 92, compared with 96 for Con Dao and 100 for Phu Quoc
The figures highlight sustained interest in Da Nang and Hoi An, particularly in culture, history and local experiences.
