Japanese specialists to provide free consultations for patients requiring reconstructive surgery

DNO - A team of plastic surgery specialists from JASMINE, Japan, will offer medical examinations, consultations and surgery for patients with congenital or acquired conditions requiring reconstructive procedures from August 24 to 28 at Da Nang Hospital.

The hospital is accepting registrations through August 23. On August 24, the Japanese specialists will conduct examinations, consultations, and screenings for cases requiring surgical intervention.

The program will focus on patients with congenital microtia; contracture and ulcerated scars caused by trauma or burns; hand deformities, including missing, extra, fused, contracted or hypertrophic fingers; and soft-tissue defects in the limbs resulting from trauma or burns.

Additionally, the program will also accept patients requiring breast reconstruction and reshaping procedures, including reduction mammoplasty for excessively large breasts, breast lift surgery for breast ptosis, and breast reconstruction following mastectomy for breast cancer.

Patients will receive medical examinations and consultations free of charge. The costs of diagnostic tests and surgery will be covered by health insurance in accordance with regulations.
