Da Nang ranks among Top 3 Vietnamese destinations for European travelers
DNO - Da Nang City has positioned as one of the top three most searched Vietnamese destinations by European tourists for the 2026 summer season, alongside Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City.
According to the digital travel platform Agoda's accommodation search data from April to June 2026 for travel during July and August, Vietnam’s rise to fourth from fifth place last year underscores its growing profile as a must-visit destination.
Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Nha Trang have emerged as the three most searched destinations in Vietnam among European travelers for summer 2026.
The platform says that across all Asian destinations, India saw the highest growth in European searches at 14 pc, ahead of South Korea at 13 pc and Vietnam at 12 pc. Within India, New Delhi, Mumbai, and Goa emerged as the top three most searched destinations for European travellers.
The surge of these three countries reflects the growing preference among European travelers for diverse experiences that go beyond Asia's traditional tourist hotspots.
Da Nang remains in its position as a "hot search" while Nha Trang emerges in search volume. It shows that Vietnam’s coastal destinations are top choices for European travelers. Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City attracts visitors seeking a vibrant urban atmosphere, cultural exploration, and diverse culinary experiences.
