DNO - In addition to capitalizing on the appeal of My Khe Beach, An Hai Ward in Da Nang is gradually shaping a multi-experience tourism space where the sea, culture, nighttime economy, and community together contribute to the destination’s attraction.

From summer events to a year-round tourism product development strategy, the local authorities are aiming to build the “tourism-friendly An Hai” brand, thereby contributing to diversifying Da Nang’s tourism landscape

The An Hai Festival 2026 attracted a large number of locals and tourists.

From festivals to signature tourism products

An Hai Ward boasts the amazing My Khe Beach and a prime location connecting the Han River and the East Sea.

Currently, it leverages its advantages in resort tourism but also moves toward building a tourism ecosystem associated with culture, commerce, services and the night-time economy.

The recent An Hai Festival was an initial step in that direction.

The event energized the area with art performances, cuisine and beach sports, but also helped promote the local image and create additional entertainment spaces for both residents and tourists.

Notably, the locality’s ambitions go beyond seasonal festivals.

According to the locality’s development orientation, a series of new tourism products will be introduced to keep the destination vibrant throughout the year.

Included will be night streets combining food and community arts; a book street along the Han River; weekend festivals; a live-action performance recreating more than 550 years of An Hai village history; OCOP fairs; and a chain of environmental and green-tourism events.

Community sports and entertainment activities at the An Hai Festival 2026 created a lively experiential space, helping promote the image of a dynamic and friendly beach destination.

All of these initiatives are designed to develop tourism and stimulate commerce and the local economy in a socially responsible manner.

Positioning the brand through culture and experience

Mr. Hoang Cong Thanh, Chairman of the An Hai Ward People’s Committee, stated that the authorities hoped to build An Hai into a civilized and welcoming destination. There, every activity not only creates additional tourism products but also spreads the values of local people and indigenous culture.

Accommodation establishments in An Hai Ward are constantly improving the quality of service, and building a friendly destination image, thereby contributing to longer visitor stays.

Therefore, local authorities encourage businesses to improve service quality, publicly display prices, maintain professional and courteous behavior, and apply smart payment methods across tourism activities.

From a business perspective, Mr. Nguyen Huy Ba, Director of the Happy Hotel, believed that An Hai possessed all the conditions necessary to develop night-time tourism products. This will contribute to optimizing tourism revenue and encouraging visitors to extend their stays.

In the morning I can swim at the beach, in the afternoon stroll along the riverside, and in the evening enjoy many culinary spaces and art performances. I feel that An Hai is not only a place for relaxation but also a destination with a lot to explore. If these activities are maintained regularly, I will definitely return.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Quan, a visitor from Ho Chi Minh City

In the context of modern tourism, An Hai is undergoing a strong transformation from relying on natural advantages to building the strengths of a destination rich in cultural depth and professional services.

This is the foundation for the locality to contribute to the diversity of Da Nang tourism, moving toward sustainable development and enhancing the brand of the coastal city.
