As planned, Thai Airways will operate two flights per direction daily between Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok and Da Nang International Airport.

The launch of the daily service is expected to make travel more convenient for Thai visitors to Da Nang as well as increase air connectivity and boost two-way tourism between the two destinations.

Thanks to the short travel distance and convenient flight time, Da Nang is well suited to the growing demand among Thai travelers for short-haul vacations.

From Da Nang, Thai tourists can also easily extend their trips to explore the central region’s cultural, natural and heritage attractions.

The new route is expected to create additional opportunities for tourism businesses to develop new products, such as leisure packages, group tours, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) tourism, and products combining multiple experiences in a single trip.

In addition to attracting travelers directly from Thailand, the new service will contribute to welcoming more international visitors to Da Nang via Bangkok, one of the region’s major air transit hubs.

With a flight network connecting more than 60 destinations across Asia, Europe and Australia, Thai Airways will make it easier for travelers from international markets to connect through Bangkok before continuing their journeys to Da Nang.

This advantage is particularly significant for markets that do not yet have direct flights to the city or for travelers seeking to combine multiple destinations in a single trip.
