Da Nang launches tea appreciation tour on Son Tra Peninsula
DNO - The Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourist Beaches, in collaboration with the Suong Mai Thai Nguyen Tea JSC, officially launched a tea appreciation tour at the Ban Co Peak on Son Tra Peninsula on Saturday.
According to the management board, the new tourism product is designed to harmoniously combine the area’s natural landscapes, Vietnam’s tea culture and premium travel experiences.
The initiative aims to promote green and sustainable tourism as well as enhance the value of the Son Tra Peninsula as one of Da Nang’s signature destinations.
The highlight of the tour is a sunrise tea experience at the Ban Co Peak where visitors can admire the spectacular scenery of Son Tra mountains, sea and clouds.
Guests will also enjoy traditional Vietnamese tea-brewing performances, learn about the country’s rich tea heritage, and savor tea amid nature while listening to stories about traditional Vietnamese tea culture and the value of mindfulness and tranquility.
At the launching ceremony, representatives from the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourist Beaches, the Da Nang Tourism Association and its branches, tour guides and travel agencies shared their vision for developing a distinctive cultural and eco-tourism product.
The initiative seeks to connect Vietnamese tea traditions, the natural beauty of Son Tra Peninsula, local culture and high-quality experiential tourism.
