Nearly 1,500 athletes to compete in Da Nang’s Aquathlon
DNO - The Aquathlon tournament, named Hoiana Aquaman 2026, will take place at the beachfront Hoiana Resort & Golf in Da Nang’s Duy Nghia Commune on July 26.
As part of Da Nang’s lineup of new tourism products for 2026, the event will feature a combination of open-water swimming and running.
It is aimed at endurance sports enthusiasts and travelers seeking a race-cation experience.
This year's edition offers multiple race categories for both experienced athletes and beginners.
Included are Aquaman Individual (2km swim and 21km run), Aquaman Relay, Half Aqua (1km swim and 10km run), Sprint Aqua (500m swim and 5km run), and Aqua Kid for children (200m swim and 1km run).
The diverse race formats are designed to accommodate both experienced athletes and first-time participants in the swim-run discipline.
In addition to Hoiana Aquaman 2026, a series of entertainment events will be held alongside the competition, such as a fashion show and the D'Hoi Summer Fest 2026 music festival on July 26.
These activities will contribute to enriching Da Nang’s summer tourism products, expanding visitors’ experiences, and promoting the city as a leading regional destination for events and festivals.
