Opening ceremony of the Enjoy Danang Festival 2026
DNO - The Enjoy Danang Festival 2026 officially opened on Thursday evening at the East Sea Park, starting a series of unique cultural, tourism, and entertainment activities in Da Nang City until July 26.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the municipal People's Committee, Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, affirmed that the "Enjoy Da Nang Festival" is constantly being innovated, becoming a distinctive summer tourism product and bringing new experiences to local people and tourists.
She said the city hopes that visitors to Da Nang will not only enjoy the city's beautiful natural landscapes and quality tourism products but also experience the local people's sincerity and hospitality. It is also the sustainable value that Da Nang strives for in building its destination brand and developing tourism.
The festival takes place from July 22nd to 26th at East Sea Park and Da Nang's tourist beaches. Highlights of this year's festival are a series of themed experiential spaces, creating a continuous journey of discovery from dawn to dusk.
In particular, the "Rural Market Culinary Space" (from 5 pm to 10:30 pm) showcases the culinary essence of Quang land, recreating the cultural space of rural villages, traditional crafts, and local life.
The "Enjoy Da Nang's Beaches" journey (from 6 pm to 10 pm) is a coastal art space created from light, art installations, and characteristic symbols of the coastal region such as basket boats, fishing nets, bamboo, and lanterns.
Remarkable programmes also include the Da Nang night-time beach gala with nearly 500 illuminated kites transforming the night sky into a sea of moving stars and the "Light Party" creating a romantic night-time beach atmosphere with artistic light, music, and local cuisine, offering visitors moments of relaxation and emotional connection.
