He added that these projects would contribute to promoting the development of the digital economy, high technology, and investment attraction.

Regarding the proposal to develop a data center, the city leader asked the company to carefully study the plan, as well as clearly define its necessity, scale and alignment with Da Nang’s development orientation.

Mr. Hung also encouraged VSIP Group to open an office in Da Nang soon in a bid to strengthen coordination with local departments and promptly address any obstacles.

Chairman Hung reaffirmed the city’s commitment to accompanying and supporting the company, while encouraging VSIP to continue providing consultancy, conducting research and accelerating project implementation to foster Da Nang's digital economy and high-tech industries.

Representatives of Sembcorp Industries and its member companies pledged to cooperate with Da Nang and expedite investment studies, particularly in the areas of data centers and artificial intelligence.
