Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang supports house repair for 5 disadvantaged families
DNO - A groundbreaking ceremony for a housing repair project benefiting five disadvantaged households was held at the Phuoc An Village, Thang Phu Commune, Da Nang on Thursday.

The event was organized by the Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang in collaboration with the municipal Union of Friendship Organizations and the People's Committee of Thang Phu Commune.
The beneficiary households are from the villages of Binh Hoi, Long Hoi, Binh Xa, Phuoc An, and Tu Tra. Their houses have deteriorated over time, and no longer meet safety standards, especially during the rainy and stormy season.
The project is funded by the Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang with a total budget of VND250 million, with each family receiving VND50 million.

Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Thang Phu Commune Nguyen Thi Thu Sang said the program would help improve housing conditions for disadvantaged families, enabling them to stabilize their lives and focus on their livelihoods.
The local authorities will work closely with relevant agencies to ensure the program is implemented for the right beneficiaries while meeting quality standards and making effective use of the donated funds.
Leaders of the People's Committee of Thang Phu Commune expressed their hope for continued support from the Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang, the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organizations, as well as organizations and businesses, in implementing more social welfare programs in the locality.
