Spreading love for Vietnamese language in Laos
DNO - The Vietnamese language training and extracurricular activities have just been opened in Sounantha Primary School (Savannakhet province, Laos) by the Da Nang Youth Union and the Student Association of University of Foreign Language Studies - The University of Da Nang (Da Nang City, Vietnam).
The programme is under the framework of the 2026 Summer Volunteer Student Campaign in Savannakhet province (Laos) taking place from July 12 to 17, 2026.
The volunteers, including staff, lecturers, and students from the Da Nang University of Foreign Language Studies, with their enthusiasm and responsibility, have developed lesson plans and designed learning materials lively and engagingly. This helps Lao students get familiar with Vietnamese language through daily life topics.
In addition, several exciting extracurricular activities, such as team-building, cultural exchanges, and skill-building, are organised by the Green Summer Volunteers.
This contributes to strengthening cultural exchange, consolidating the friendship between Vietnam and Laos, and spreading love for the Vietnamese language to the Lao youth in Savannakhet province.
