The concert featured four movements encompassing ten musical compositions under the themes “Sharing the Same River,” “Melodies Through Time,” “Walking Together Along the Cultural Heritage,” and “Everlasting Friendship”.

The performance blended the rich sounds of traditional Vietnamese and Chinese instruments, including the Vietnamese monochord (dan bau), moon lute (dan nguyet), Chinese horsehead fiddle, two-string fiddle (dan nhi), and percussion, with a full symphony orchestra, creating a compelling musical dialogue that reflected the cultural heritage and artistic traditions of both nations.

Addressing the audience, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam He Wei said that under the strategic guidance of the top leaders of both Parties and countries, China-Vietnam relations have entered what he described as a “golden era,” characterized by increasingly frequent high-level exchanges, stronger political trust, and expanding people-to-people ties.
