A Da Nang's student win gold medal at Asia-Pacific Olympiad in AI
DNO - Phan Dinh Triet, a student at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted in Da Nang City, has just won a gold medal at the Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (APOAI) 2026.

The APOAI 2026, hosted by China, took place online June 13, 2026.
As a result, the Vietnamese team, including 8 students, won one gold medal, awarded to Phan Dinh Triet. In addition, other team members brought home one silver medal and 4 bronze medals.
With this outstanding achievement, Phan Dinh Triet will be one of the 8 students from the Vietnamese national team selected to participate in the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI), scheduled to be held in Kazakhstan from August 2 to 8, 2026.
Phan Dinh Triet contributes to affirming the capabilities and intelligence of Vietnamese students on the international stage.
