DIFF 2026: Night of vision and future aspirations
DNO - The fifth competition night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026 on June 27 invited thousands of spectators on a captivating artistic journey under the theme "Vision".

Blending world-class fireworks, live music and cultural performances, the event celebrated creativity, ambition and Da Nang's aspirations for the future.
Among the distinguished international guests was Olivier Brochet, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Vietnam.
Representing Da Nang were Standing Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh; Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee and Chairman of the municipal People's Council Nguyen Duc Dung; Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee and Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Nguyen Manh Hung.
The evening featured a highly anticipated showdown between Australia's Skylighter Fireworks Pty Ltd and Portugal's Macedos Pirotecnia Lda.
Under the theme "Vision," both teams showcased distinctive artistic styles, combining cutting-edge pyrotechnic techniques with compelling storytelling in pursuit of a place in the DIFF 2026 final.
In recognition of their participation and dedication, Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, the Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People's Committee and Head of the DIFF 2026 Organizing Committee, presented commemorative medals to representatives of both teams.
The theme "Vision" reflected Da Nang's long-term development ambitions. It symbolized the city's commitment to building a modern, smart and sustainable urban environment while strengthening its position as a leading economic and metropolitan hub in Central Vietnam.

The evening also featured a vibrant riverside concert, adding another dimension to the festival experience. One of the highlights was the appearance of renowned Vietnamese pop singer Duc Phuc.
Accompanied by the Trung Vuong and MTE dance troupes, the performances delivered a visually striking stage production that echoed the festival's forward-looking theme.
The excitement continued with Lia Ngoc Nhung's energetic rendition of Titanium, while performances of Abracadabra and Bandeira – Em Festa infused the stage with an international atmosphere.
The latter delighted spectators with football-themed choreography and freestyle ball juggling, capturing the festive spirit of the FIFA World Cup and further energizing the crowd along the Han River.
