German newcomer wows audiences at DIFF 2026 with stunning fireworks show
DNO - Making its debut at the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF), Germany’s Steffes-Ollig Feuerwerke GmbH & Co. KG delivered a breathtaking performance titled “Pyrographics.
With a history of over 150 years, Steffes-Ollig Feuerwerke GmbH & Co. KG showcased its strengths in precision, structural design and absolute synchronization between music and each fireworks effect.
Competing under the theme “Creative”, the German team presented a dazzling sequence of golden willow bursts, glittering crowns, silver palms and multi-break star shells.
Layer upon layer of light unfolded across the sky, creating visually rich compositions with remarkable depth and artistic expression.
In particular, a standout feature of the performance was its meticulous programming, making the entire display resemble a giant moving graphic artwork in the sky above the Han River.
Music played an important role in the German team’s show. A powerful soundtrack featuring rock, electronic music and emotionally charged film scores continuously elevated the atmosphere, delivering a performance that was modern, dynamic and full of energy.
According to team leader Patrick Thomas Reuter, creativity means “breaking the boundaries of traditional fireworks”.
And they strive to use specific visual effects and creative variations to provide the audience with images that perfectly matched the subtle nuances of the music.
