Da Nang to host Vietnam - Japan Festival 2026 from July 9 - 12

DNO - The Vietnam - Japan Festival is scheduled to take place from July 9 - 12 at Da Nang’s East Sea Park and several other venues across the city.

The festival will feature a wide range of exciting activities, including the conference “Meet Japan in Da Nang: Comprehensive Strategic Partnership - Towards a Sustainable Future”, a seminar on promoting Japanese tourism, bilateral meetings between city leaders and Japanese localities and partners, and site visits for Japanese delegations to several of the city’s key development projects.

Also, the event will include an exhibition showcasing the achievements of Vietnam - Japan cooperation, a children’s art exhibition, a Vietnam - Japan cultural experience space, and 100 booths introducing products, services, and distinctive cultural features of the two countries.

A variety of cultural and sporting exchange activities will be organized for residents and visitors.

Included will be a Vietnam - Japan art program, a football exchange with Kawasaki Frontale Football Club, a friendly pickleball exchange, Japanese baseball experiences, traditional martial arts demonstrations, Yosakoi dance performances, the “Vietnam - Japan Friendship Melody” competition, a Cosplay contest, and the Earthing Marathon.

Through the organization of the festival, Da Nang expects to continue to strengthen and deepen cooperative relations with localities and Japanese partners.

The festival also provides an opportunity for the city to promote investment promotion, trade, tourism, and education.

At the same time, it contributes to boosting people-to-people diplomacy, and advertising the image and cultural identity of the two countries to a large number of people and international tourists.
