Spectacular music extravaganza lights up DIFF 2026 opening night
DNO - Alongside the dazzling fireworks, the opening night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026 on May 30 delivered a spectacular musical showcase featuring some of Vietnam’s most celebrated performers.

Under the theme “Da Nang – United Horizons,” the opening night of DIFF 2026 showcased a dynamic blend of music, choreography, state-of-the-art stage technology and visual artistry, setting the stage for an unforgettable festival season.
This year marked the debut of DIFF’s largest-ever performance stage, featuring a giant mechanical dome spanning more than 40 metres in width and 10 metres in height.
Enhanced by powerful laser systems, 3D LED matrix technology, retro amber lighting and multi-layer transparent LED screens, the stage provided a breathtaking backdrop for the evening’s artistic performances.

The excitement soared with the arrival of Vietnamese pop superstar Ho Ngoc Ha, who captivated the crowd with a powerful medley of “Destiny,” “Dawn,” and “Magic Lamp.”
Backed by dazzling laser displays, immersive LED visuals and cutting-edge stage effects, her high-energy performance transformed the Han River stage into a spectacular celebration and set the tone for the vibrant weeks of DIFF 2026 ahead.
Adding to the spectacle were nearly 70 professional dancers and more than 30 international performers from Sun World Ba Na Hills, whose synchronized performances contributed to a visually stunning and culturally rich production.
With its seamless fusion of music, technology and artistic creativity, the opening night concert demonstrated how DIFF has evolved beyond a fireworks competition into a world-class cultural and entertainment festival, reinforcing Da Nang’s position as one of Asia’s most exciting summer destinations.
