The event is one of the key highlights of the city’s annual “Da Nang Beach Tourism Season 2026”, offering a new culinary attraction for both residents and visitors.

Held for the first time, the festival introduces a distinctive gastronomic space centered around a collection of ten themed “landmark pizza ovens”.

Each oven is inspired by iconic destinations from Vietnam and around the world.

Included are the Dragon Bridge, Golden Bridge, Colosseum, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty, Sydney Opera House, Great Pyramid of Giza, alongside culturally symbolic Vietnamese designs such as the “Carp Turning into a Dragon”.

Through this creative concept, the festival aims to celebrate culinary diversity while promoting both domestic and international cultural heritage, with pizza as the central theme.

The Da Nang Beach Tourism Season, organised annually since 2014 by the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang’s tourist beaches, has grown into a signature event combining culture, sports and tourism.

Over the years, the event has attracted large numbers of visitors to the city’s coastline and the Son Tra Peninsula, reinforcing Da Nang’s position as one of Vietnam’s leading beach destinations.

This year’s programme features 19 main activities taking place across Bien Dong Park, Son Tra Peninsula, and key coastal areas, including five new additions.

Under the theme “Vibrant Summer”, the event series offers a wide range of experiences, from beach sports and kite festivals to diverse culinary spaces operating throughout the day and into the evening.

The introduction of the Da Nang Pizza Festival marks a strategic effort to diversify the city’s tourism offerings.

By blending global culinary culture with local identity in a lively seaside setting, the event is expected to enhance visitor experiences and create a fresh draw for holidaymakers during the peak travel period.
