AirAsia RedRun Da Nang 2026 slated on April 26
DNO - The AirAsia RedRun Da Nang is set to take place on April 26 at East Sea Park, drawing thousands of runners.
This race is part of a series of running events held in seven major cities in Asia, including Da Nang.
Its aim is to create a vibrant sporting playground, spread the movement of sports fitness and competition in the community, and promote a more positive and healthy lifestyle.
Since registration opened, the event has attracted strong interest from runners in Da Nang and across the country. Athletes can flexibly choose race categories of 5km, 10km or 21km half-marathon, depending on their fitness level.
Participating runners will have the chance to conquer scenic coastal routes, pass along the breezy Han River, cross the iconic Dragon Bridge, and run through modern urban corridors.
Beyond the experiential appeal, the race routes have been meticulously designed to maximize support for individual performance goals.
Main routes such as Vo Nguyen Giap - Tran Hung Dao - Le Van Duyet, with their width and few sharp turns, help runners maintain a stable pace and better control their running rhythm.
