Hoi An’s feather paintings turn simple materials into cultural art

Behind these creations is artisan Dinh Ngoc Dat, born Dinh Thong in 1960, who has devoted much of his life to developing and preserving this unique craft.

Throughout his career, Dat has produced hundreds of feather paintings, each one bearing its own identity.
