Vietnam ranks 15th on British tourists’ travel wish list
DNO - A recent survey of British travelers has revealed that Vietnam is among their travel wish destinations.

Conducted with 2,000 respondents, the survey highlights varying preferences in destinations as well as travel habits among UK tourists.
Notably, 43% of participants admit they enjoy comparing the number of countries they have visited with others, viewing it as a way to showcase their sense of adventure, global awareness, or simply to impress.
Among the top 50 countries people most wish to visit, Vietnam is placed 15th, standing out for its diverse landscapes, rich culture and affordable costs.
Vietnam’s inclusion among top 50 “travel wish destinations” highlights the country’s growing appeal on the global tourism map. This also opens up opportunities to further promote its image, enhance the quality of products and services, and convert travel aspirations into actual visitor numbers in the coming years.
Within Southeast Asia, Thailand ranks 11th, followed by Singapore (17th), the Philippines (36th), Malaysia (38th), Cambodia (47th) and Indonesia (49th). Across Asia more broadly, Japan holds the second position, while South Korea is placed 23rd, India 26th and China 29th.

The survey also indicates that New Zealand (24%), Japan (23%) and Australia (18%) top the travel wish list.
Meanwhile, Belgium is at the bottom of the list of the top 50 countries people wish to visit for the first time.
In a similar survey on the most-visited destinations by British travelers, Vietnam ranks 40th, behind Thailand (26th), Singapore (28th) and Malaysia (37th).
British tourists most frequently travel to France, Spain, Italy, the United States, Germany and Greece.
