Da Nang delegation extends Bunpimay greetings in Savannakhet
DNO - On April 4, a high-level delegation of Da Nang City, led by Secretary of the City's Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang, visited Savannakhet Province to extend Bunpimay greetings during their working visit to Laos.

The delegation was received by Bounchom Ubonpaseuth, Secretary of the Savannakhet Provincial Party Committee, together with provincial leaders.
Le Ngoc Quang extended warm greetings to the provincial leadership and people of Savannakhet, wishing them a joyful and prosperous new year and continued achievements in socio-economic development.

Le Ngoc Quang said that the visit came at a meaningful time following the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the 12th National Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, which provide a foundation for stronger local cooperation.
He also praised Savannakhet for its socio-economic achievements, highlighting its strong growth and potential in sectors such as clean energy and agriculture linked with processing industries.

Le Ngoc Quang highlighted Savannakhet's strategic position along the East–West Economic Corridor and its potential to develop key border gates into international trade gateways.
He also shared that Da Nang is expanding development space through administrative restructuring and continues to support human resource training for southern Lao provinces, providing full scholarships to Lao students.
The city expressed readiness to assist Savannakhet in training in healthcare, education, agriculture, and information technology and proposed establishing a business association to strengthen investment and trade cooperation.

Bounchom Ubonpaseuth expressed appreciation for the support from Da Nang and reaffirmed commitment to strengthening cooperation with Savannakhet Province.
On this occasion, Da Nang donated VND 500 million for social welfare in Savannakhet, VND 200 million to the Vietnamese Association, and VND 50 million to the local Vietnamese Language Centre.
