Launching new products and services

Da Nang will host numerous major events in 2026, including the “Return to the Original” tourism stimulus programme, the Da Nang Food Tour Festival, the International Fireworks Festival (DIFF), the beach tourism season opening, the “Wonderful Da Nang" festival, the 4th Asian Film Festival, and various cultural celebrations.

The city is expanding diverse tourism products such as river tourism, MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions), event and festival tourism, community-based and rural tourism alongside resort, shopping, culinary, wedding, and nighttime offerings.

New experiences include tea activities at Ban Co Peak Son Tra Peninsula and a night tour at Hoi An Prison, while businesses introduce new attractions like large-scale lantern shows at Hoi An Memories Lands.

Promotion efforts are intensifying through fairs and MICE campaigns, supported by expanded air routes connecting Da Nang with regional destinations, including Bali, Manila, Vientiane, Bangkok, Jakarta, and Phu Quoc.

In 2026, the city targets 19.4 - 19.8 million visitors (up 10 - 12%), including 8.6 - 8.7 million international arrivals, with tourism revenue projected at nearly VND 70 trillion.

Stabilising prices, stimulating demand

Da Nang is enhancing service quality, transparency, and safety while promoting digital transformation and sustainable tourism. Businesses are encouraged to strengthen linkages, diversify products, and actively engage in domestic and international promotion.

The tourism sector is fostering cooperation and rolling out stimulus packages targeting nearby markets such as Southeast and Northeast Asia. Companies are redesigning flexible, cost-efficient products, while hotels and service providers offer combo deals to attract visitors.

Authorities are urged to expand aviation support and coordinate stimulus programmes, with airlines increasing routes and partnering with tourism businesses. Key promotions include the Vietnam International Travel Mart - Hanoi 2026 and a programme in Laos to tap overland travel.

The establishment of a new Events and Cultural Destination Sub-Association is also expected to boost MICE tourism and strengthen Da Nang’s brand.
