According to the plan, the World Cup Pickleball 2026 will take place in Da Nang from August 30 - September 6. The event promises thrilling, high-intensity matches featuring top players from around the world.

The 2026 edition will be the fourth World Cup Pickleball tournament. Previously, the tournament was held in Peru (twice) and Florida (the USA). While the 2023 tournament featured only 14 players representing various countries, the number of participating nations rose to 33 in 2024.

The event reached a peak in 2025, with representatives from 68 countries and territories and more than 3,000 participants taking part in the USA.

Da Nang’s selection as the next host destination highlights the city’s credibility, appeal, and proven capability in organizing major international sporting events.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Thao, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang Pickleball Federation, said that being chosen as the host for the World Cup Pickleball 2026 is a great opportunity for the city to further affirm its capacity in staging large-scale sporting events.

The event is also expected to help connect the cultural identity of Da Nang in particular and Vietnam in general with the world’s most prestigious pickleball tournament, as well as promote cooperation in tourism, trade, and sports between domestic sports brands and international partners.

At the same time, it offers a chance to showcase Da Nang’s image as a vibrant, dynamic, and welcoming destination to both domestic and international friends.
