Da Nang International Airport ranks among world’s top 100 in 2026
DNO - Da Nang International Airport has been named in the world’s top 100 airports in 2026, according to the World Airport Awards 2026 announced by Skytrax.

In the 2026 rankings, Da Nang International Airport climbed to 75th place, rising nine positions compared to 2025, and maintaining its position within the global top 100.
Another in Vietnam, Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, was also on the list, ranking 71st.
The improved ranking places Da Nang ahead of many major international aviation hubs, reflecting ongoing efforts to upgrade infrastructure and enhance passenger experience.
In addition to the global ranking, Da Nang International Airport was also named among the Top 10 Best Regional Airports in Asia 2026, a category recognising airports that deliver outstanding passenger experiences within the region.
The list includes prominent Asian airports such as Chubu Centrair (Nagoya), Fukuoka, New Chitose, and Seoul Gimpo. All of them are well-known for their consistently high service standards. Da Nang’s inclusion reflects a growing trend of emerging destinations gaining recognition through service quality and user experience.
Unlike large, congested “mega hubs", the Best Regional Airports category focuses on small- to medium-sized airports, where quality is defined by efficiency, convenience, and overall comfort throughout the passenger journey.
Evaluation criteria emphasise smooth operations, processing speed, and the actual experience felt by travellers rather than sheer capacity.
Launched in 1999 by Skytrax, a UK-based international air transport rating organisation, the World Airport Awards are among the most prestigious recognitions in the global aviation industry.
The awards are based entirely on passenger satisfaction surveys conducted across more than 100 countries, covering all aspects of the airport experience, including check-in, security, immigration procedures, services, facilities, and overall impressions.
