DNO - Several tourist destinations across Da Nang have rolled out attractive incentives for visitors from the Central and Central Highlands regions. Attracting a large number of domestic tourists from neighboring localities is expected to further strengthen Da Nang's position as a regional tourism hub.

Attractive promotions

In 2026, the appreciation program of Sun World Ba Na Hills returns with a new version called "New Da Nang - New Experiences".

The promotion program, running throughout March, offers more benefits, longer usage periods, and attractive prices for visitors with permanent residency in 11 provinces and cities in the Central and Central Highlands regions, namely Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, and Lam Dong.

Specifically, cable car tickets valid for three consecutive days are priced at VND400,000 for adults and VND300,000 for children.

Meanwhile, from March 25 to April 25, 2026, VinWonders Nam Hoi An will offer a discount of up to 50% exclusively for residents of the 11 provinces.

In addition, to mark the second anniversary of the tourism train service connecting Hue and Da Nang (March 26, 2024 - March 26, 2026), the railway sector is implementing a ticket price discount program for passengers.

Specifically, passengers travelling on March 26, 2026, will receive a 50% discount on tickets. For services operating from March 27 to April 1, 2026, passengers will receive a 10% fare reduction.

Da Nang - A “nucleus” for regional tourism connectivity

According to tourism experts, given Da Nang's role as a tourism hub, a joint tourism promotion strategy for the entire region should be developed. In the long term, further research and planning should be conducted to develop distinctive inter-provincial tourism products.

In particular, along the coast and the North - South highway corridor, a tourism chain should be formed north of Hai Van Pass, connecting Da Nang with Hue (cultural heritage), Quang Tri Ancient Citadel (historical heritage), and Son Doong Cave (natural heritage). This route is considered a unique tourism corridor with the potential to attract high-end international travelers.

To the south of the Hai Van Pass, another tourism chain could connect Da Nang with Hoi An and My Son Sanctuary (cultural heritage), as well as Tam Hai, Ly Son Island, Sa Huynh (historical and geological heritage), and further to Tay Son and Dak Lak (historical and natural heritage).

A third development corridor linking Da Nang with Mang Den could be established via National Highway 40B, connecting the coastal tourism city with the highland destination.

All three tourism corridors are considered to be distinctive and high-value routes, with Da Nang positioned at the center, thanks to its strong international connectivity and the role of Da Nang International Airport as a major aviation hub for both the region and the country.
