Quan The Am (Avalokitesvara) Festival 2026 set for April 4 - 7
DNO - The Quan The Am (Avalokitesvara) Festival 2026 will take place from April 4 to 7 at the grounds of the Quan The Am Pagoda in Ngu Hanh Son Ward, Da Nang.

This year’s festival will officially open at 5:00 pm on April 4. The main ceremony honoring Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva will be held at the festival stage in the grounds of the Quan The Am Pagoda at 7:00 am on April 6, while the closing ceremony is scheduled for the afternoon of April 7.
The festival will feature a lineup of ritual, religious and cultural activities, along with exhibitions, seminars, talks, competitions, and folk games.
Its highlights will include a traditional boat race, a tug-of-war competition, a team banana-tree climbing contest to capture flags, the Non Nuoc Stone Sculpture Competition 2026, a traditional village chess tournament, and a mixed-gender stilt-walking contest along Su Van Hanh Street.
Other activities will feature live demonstrations and displays of Non Nuoc stone carving art, a photo exhibition titled “Avalokitesvara Festival - A Symbol of Compassion in Art”, and booths offering traditional folk games.
Visitors can also enjoy bamboo pole dancing performances, water and land puppet shows along Su Van Hanh Street, and art kite performances at the Hoa Quy - Dong No Urban Area Park.
In addition, there will be various celebratory art programs, a parade of vehicles decorated with flowers, a lantern releasing ceremony, campfire activities, OCOP product booths, and the 2026 Walk for Peace program.
