The museum hosts a permanent exhibition of global coins and banknotes, serving as a long-term archive illustrating the evolution of monetary systems across civilisations.

The gallery features 58 themed collections by country, including commemorative, FAO-issued and animal-themed coins, corporate and trade issues, Islamic calendar and Roman numeral coins, irregular and porcelain coins from Germany and Japan, and some of the smallest circulating coins in modern numismatics.

It also presents historical currencies from Vietnam (970 - 2003), China (221 BC - 1986), Japan (960 - 2009) and South Korea (1097 - 2015).

Opened in 2024, the nearly 2,000 sqm museum houses over 20,000 artefacts aged from about 50 to more than 2,000 years across 77 collections.

Highlights include a Tale of Kieu collection of about 1,620 editions from ancient Nom versions to global publications, coins and banknotes from nearly 200 countries and territories, world stamp collections, and military insignia, watches and cultural memorabilia.
