Da Nang tourism nears VND 4 trillion in 2026 Lunar New Year revenue
DNO - Da Nang received about 1.1 million visitors during the 2026 Lunar New Year (February 14 - 22), generating over VND 3.96 trillion in tourism revenue, according to the city’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

International arrivals exceeded 510,000 visitors, up over 32% year-on-year, while domestic tourists reached about 590,000, a 23% increase from 2025.
Average hotel occupancy was 65 - 70%, climbing to around 85% in four- and five-star properties.
During the Tet holiday, four international cruise ships docked at Tien Sa Port, bringing 4,200 passengers and 2,300 crew members from the UK, France, the US, Italy, Spain and Germany.
They visited major attractions, including the Marble Mountains, Linh Ung Pagoda on Son Tra Peninsula, the Cham Sculpture Museum, Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Sanctuary and the Cam Thanh nipa palm forest.
A series of themed events boosted Tet arrivals, including the 2026 Tet Fair themed Picking up the Spring Horse at Da Nang Museum, the Tulip Festival on Ba Na Hills, the God of Wealth Festival at Nui Than Tai Hot Springs Park and the Festival of Light and Heritage in Hoi An Memories Land.
Tourist support centres maintained hotline, email and social media assistance throughout the holiday, and authorities reported no major visitor-related incidents.
