580 cruise visitors arrive in Da Nang on third day of Tet
ĐNO - On February 19, the third day of Lunar New Year, Da Nang City welcomed the cruise ship Seabourn Encore at Tien Sa Port, bringing 580 visitors from the UK, France, and the United States.

The reception happened with lion dances and traditional Lunar New Year elements such as conical hats and gift boxes with Chung cake (square sticky rice cake) and Tet cake (cylindrical sticky rice cake).
During their visit, tourists will get a full cultural experience through exploring key attractions, including the Cham Sculpture Museum, Marble Mountains, and Hoi An Ancient Town.
During the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday (February 16-22), in addition to the Seabourn Encore arriving on February 19, Da Nang will welcome nearly 4,200 cruise passengers, including arrivals of 2,800 European visitors (from Italy, France, the UK, and Spain) on February 20 and about 650 additional European visitors on February 22.

The city plans to continue market promotion, improve services, and strengthen cooperation with cruise lines and ports to attract more ships. In 2026, Da Nang expects 59 cruise ships carrying over 64,000 passengers, about 11% higher than 2025, signaling positive prospects for sustainable tourism growth and socio-economic development.
