In a warm and friendly atmosphere, Nguyen Thanh Long expressed his pleasure at welcoming the delegation from Sekong Provincial Police.

According to Nguyen Thanh Long, despite significant challenges in 2025, including an administrative merger and the rollout of a new organizational model, Da Nang City Police achieved notable results. Political security was firmly maintained, and crimes affecting social order fell by 32.5% compared to 2024.

In particular, Da Nang advanced its goal of building 100% drug-free wards and communes, strengthening grassroots security.

Nguyen Thanh Long said that these achievements stemmed not only from the dedication of the entire force, but also from the close and effective cooperation of Sekong Provincial Police, particularly through more substantive annual reviews and joint efforts against cross-border crime.

On behalf of the delegation, Khamkhang Thongsavat highly appreciated the achievements of Da Nang City Police over the past year and affirmed that the close cooperation between the two forces reflects the special friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Laos.
