Savannakhet delegation pays pre-Tet visit to Da Nang
DNO - Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Ho Ky Minh, on Tuesday, received a delegation from Savannakhet Province, Laos, who came to visit and extend Lunar New Year greetings for the city’s leaders.

At the meeting, on behalf of the Party Committee, government, and people of Savannakhet Province, Vice Chairman of the provincial Administration Committee Thongsai Sayavongkhamdi congratulated Vietnam on the successful conclusion of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
He also sent best wishes to the Party Committee, government, and people of Da Nang on the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year.
He expressed his joy at Da Nang’s rapid growth and voiced his hope that, based on the great friendship and special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos in general, and Da Nang and Savannakhet in particular, the two localities will continue promoting investment cooperation and cultural exchange in the time ahead.

For his part, Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Ho Ky Minh thanked Savannakhet Province for its warm sentiments toward Da Nang.
He stressed the need for both sides to step up cooperation across all fields in order to effectively implement the orientations set out by the senior leaders of the two countries, thereby strengthening strategic ties between the two localities.
On the occasion, the leader of Da Nang expressed his hope that the Lao Consulate General in Da Nang will continue to play its role as a bridge linking the city with localities in southern Laos in general, and Savannakhet Province in particular, in the coming time.
