DIFF 2026: Detailed competition schedule of participating teams
DNO - The Da Nang People's Committee, on Tuesday, unveiled a plan on the organization of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026.
Under the theme “Da Nang - United Horizons", DIFF 2026 will take place from May 30 to July 11, featuring six competition nights.
The themes of the six competition nights are designed as a continuous narrative reflecting Da Nang’s new development journey with new position, growing potential, and forward-looking mindset.
Specifically, the opening night of DIFF 2026 on May 30 has the theme “Nature”, featuring a competition between Da Nang - Vietnam and China.
The second night on June 6, themed “Heritage”, will see a face-off between France and Vietnam (Z21 Vina Pyrotech). The third night on June 13, themed “Culture”, will be a competition between Japan and Italy.
The fourth night on June 20, themed “Creativity” will showcase a competition between Germany and Macau. On the fifth competition night on June 27, themed “Vision”, Australia will compete against Portugal.
The grand finale, scheduled for July 11, will have the theme “Da Nang - United Horizons”.
Fireworks will be launched from the Han River Port area, whilst the grandstand and main stage will be set up along Tran Hung Dao Street, opposite the fireworks display site.
The municipal People's Committee has assigned relevant units, departments, and agencies to closely coordinate in ensuring the effective organization of DIFF 2026.
In particular, Sun Group JSC and Apollo Media and Trading Company Limited (APL) are tasked with importing fireworks, ensuring their safe storage and installation, and constructing grandstands, stage, and sound, and lighting systems.
The municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is responsible for overseeing coordination and advisory work, developing support programs, and managing artistic performances.
Meanwhile, the Da Nang Department of Public Security is assigned to ensure security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting, and traffic regulation and diversion.
