University of Da Nang among THE World University Rankings by Subject
DNO - The University of Da Nang has been ranked in several subject groups in the 2025 World University Rankings by Subject, published on January 21 by Times Higher Education (THE), marking another step forward for Vietnamese higher education on the global stage.

According to the results, the University of Da Nang is placed in the 801 - 1,000 band worldwide for Business, Economics and Social Sciences. It is ranked 1,001+ in Computer Science and Life Sciences, 1,001 - 1,250 in Physical Sciences, and 1,251+ in Engineering.
The 2025 THE subject rankings assessed 830 universities from 88 countries and territories, using 18 performance indicators aligned with THE’s overall global rankings methodology. These indicators are grouped into five core areas: Teaching, Research Environment, Research Quality, Industry (knowledge transfer), and International Outlook.
The University of Da Nang is among 11 Vietnamese universities to appear in the rankings across various subject areas this year. Other institutions from Vietnam recognized by THE include the Vietnam National University, Ha Noi; the Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City; the Ha Noi University of Science and Technology, the Hanoi Medical University, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City Open University, the Hue University, the Duy Tan University, the Ton Duc Thang University and the Nguyen Tat Thanh University.
The growing presence of Vietnamese universities in THE’s subject-based rankings reflects broader efforts to improve teaching quality, research output, international collaboration and industry engagement, as higher education institutions in Vietnam seek greater global integration and recognition.
