Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2026 to take place from May 30 to July 11
DNO - The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026 is scheduled to take place from May 30 to July 11, 2026, under the theme “Da Nang - United Horizons”.

The participating teams include two representatives from Vietnam - the Da Nang Fireworks Team and Z21 Vina Pyrotech - alongside international teams that are well-known fireworks producers.
They are Jiangxi Yangfeng Art Fireworks Display Co., Ltd (China), Martarello Group S.R.L (Italy), Josef Steffes - Ollig Feuer Werk GmbH (Germany), Macedos Pirotecnia Lda (Portugal), Lux Factory POK 2.0 (France), Tamaya Kitahara Fireworks Co., Ltd (Japan), Apple Pyrotechnics (Macau, China) Co., Ltd and Skylighter Fireworks (Australia).
As in the 2025 edition, DIFF 2026 will unfold across six competition nights. Fireworks displays are scheduled at the Han River Port area, with the main grandstand and performance stage set along Tran Hung Dao Street, directly opposite the launch site-maintaining the familiar and iconic layout that has defined previous DIFF seasons.
Beyond the competition nights, a wide range of supporting activities will be organised across the city.
Festival spaces will extend along both banks of the Han River, major streets, public event stages and key tourist areas, aiming to create a citywide festive atmosphere and enhance visitor experiences throughout the summer period.
The award structure for DIFF 2026 will include the championship and runner-up titles, as well as prizes for the most popular team, creativity and promising performance, reflecting both artistic quality and audience engagement.

Speaking at a recent meeting to review the draft plan, Vice Chairwoman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi said the successful organisation of the 2025 festival had underscored Da Nang’s ambition and determination in a new development phase, while further strengthening the city’s position on the international tourism map.
She called on relevant local departments to build on that momentum while addressing shortcomings identified in the previous edition.
The festival is directed by the Da Nang People’s Committee and implemented by Sun Group and Apollo Trade and Communication Company.
Authorities also requested careful preparation of sound, lighting and screen systems, an increase in the number of speaker clusters along major roads, and a balanced plan for invitations and ticket sales to be submitted for approval.
With its expanded international lineup and citywide programming, DIFF 2026 is expected to continue positioning Da Nang as a leading destination for large-scale cultural and tourism events in the region.
