Over 300 experts attend international semiconductors conference in Da Nang
DNO - Around 300 delegates, including scientists, experts, lecturers, researchers and business representatives in the fields of semiconductors, electronics and intelligent systems, are gathering in Da Nang for the 2026 International Conference on Semiconductors (ICOS).

Running from January 5 - 7, the conference is held by the Vietnam - Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU) under the University of Da Nang in coordination with the South Korean Institute of Semiconductor Engineers (ISE).
This is the first in-depth international scientific conference on semiconductors held in Central Vietnam, marking an important milestone in Da Nang’s strategy to strengthen academic integration and international cooperation.
ICOS 2026 serves as a prestigious academic forum for exchanging and sharing the latest research findings, discussing cutting-edge technological trends, and promoting collaboration among universities, research institutes and enterprises.

The conference features 72 scientific papers by nearly 300 authors and groups of authors, presented across multiple specialized technical sessions.
These papers comprehensively reflect key research directions in semiconductors and systems, including semiconductor materials and devices; analog, RF, power and sensor integrated circuits; digital integrated circuits, systems and integrated hardware; CAD, design and testing; advanced packaging and heterogeneous integration; and interdisciplinary systems and applications.
